Where Do Island Jay Products Come From?

Island Jay is a 100% founded and American owned and operated company.  All orders are processed and shipped from Oldsmar, Florida right in the USA.  Whenever possible, we source our raw materials and products within the USA.

The t-shirts, hoodie blanks, and raw materials that we use for our garments are manufactured in the Caribbean and India. None of our Island Jay branded t-shirts or hoodies come from China. The good news is regardless of our raw material suppliers, 95%+ of the revenue goes to Island Jay and USA based companies. 

Why do we not buy USA made t-shirt blanks?
We would love to, but there are a few reasons. Fine ring spun cottons in tropical colors are not always available from USA based manufacturers. If we cannot receive a steady supply then we cannot be in business. We are always looking for a better supply option.

What is the solution?
All of our blank garments are purchased from USA based distributors. They can supply the quality product and the inventory we need. This allows us to deliver a consistent stream of products that you have come to expect from Island Jay. 

Here is a reference chart for the origin of products that we sell, where they are finalized, ship from, and how much of the revenue stays within the USA. The only products that come from China are our hats and metal tumblers. We are seeking an alternative source for our hats, but they are still embroidered by Island Jay in our facility by our employees in Tampa, Florida. The insulated tumblers are only made in China and as of right now there is no other source for them. Like the hats, we print tot he tumblers ourselves.
